The Sightgeist, Weekend Australian 26-27 June 2010

I’ve been mucking out the hard drive this week and dug up this one from many moons ago. I decided to put it on the blog in honour of Malcolm Fraser. It’s always tough to know when to leave a party, but if you see either Harry doing his hatstand or Tony Abbott stripping down to his budgie smugglers, you can be pretty sure it’s time to call a cab.

Yes, I have a few boxes left of the epic 101 Uses For A John Howard and as I’m working on another book, ALL THESE HAVE TO GO!!!! So I’m going CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY and selling them for TEN BUCKS EACH! That’s right TEN BUCKS!!!! No extra postage, ten bucks gets the book sent to your door in an envelope and everything!

So if you haven’t bought a copy yet, get one before they’re mulching the vegie patch. Admittedly Little Johnny has gone out of fashion in the way of Happi Pants and that’s No Bad Thing, but the book now constitutes a historical document in which you can reminisce about the Good Old Days before we believed in global warming, recessions, saving petrol by catching public transport and interest rate hikes.

Three historians attempt to hold the pass of Thermopylae against the invading hordes. First printed in the Weekend Oz in Review on 21/4/07 and now available as a print on Redbubble.

This cartoon appeared in the Review section of the Weekend Australian August 4-5 and seems to have struck a chord with supporters of the mighty Hawks (Tassie Hawks to us Tasmanians and for only $15 million bucks…)

Anyway, it’s up for sale as a print or fabulous T-shirt on Redbubble. Go the mighty Hawks unless they’re playing Collingwood. Or the Swans. I’m kind of fickle.
